"Real people, real connection, and a shared passion for helping others thrive — wherever they are"

Aileen - Occupational Therapist and Director

Originally from Ireland, I graduated as an OT in 2008 and have spent most of my career working in paediatrics across a range of settings — private practice, the Child Development Service, and Perth Children's Hospital.

My passion for rural work began in 2013 when I moved to Paraburdoo. As a generalist OT working across remote towns and communities, I thrived on the challenges, chaos, and complexity that came with the job — but it was the gratitude and deep connection with families that truly brought me back.

In 2024, I founded TTT with the goal of providing meaningful, neuroaffirming support to clients aged 0-60 years. While working with kids is where my heart lies, I also enjoy the variety and depth that comes with supporting adults and engaging in broader community work.

Favourite therapy tool: The trusty peanut therapy ball.

What lights me up: That moment when a child goes from overwhelmed to calm — melting into my lap, then reaching for my hand to guide me to their activity of choice. Relate ✓ Regulate ✓ Engage ✓

When I'm not in the therapy room: You'll find me at the skate park with my two boys and fellow mum friends, making endless snacks at home, or squeezing in a gym session.

Why I'm proud to be part of TTT: Because every child deserves to feel understood, supported, and celebrated.

Vivienne - Speech Pathologist

Working in a rural setting has given me a greater appreciation for the career I'm in and big love for the community that I get to be a part of. I'm passionate about collaborating with families and supporting kids to express themselves in every way, shape and form! As a generalist Speech Pathologist, I have worked in a number of areas such as early language, fluency, AAC, school age language, speech sounds and social communication.

Favourite therapy tool: Playdoh! The possibilities are endless with it and love seeing the kids get creative with it.

What lights me up: Singing with a child who has limited verbal communication or watching a child grow with confidence to attempt reading that difficult sentence or saying that tricky sound.

When I’m not in the therapy room: I’m sweating it out at the gym or pilates, and grabbing a matcha with my friends.

Why I’m proud to be part of TTT: Being surrounded by likeminded therapists who have the kids at heart and being able to help support a child and their family’s goals – every child should have equitable access to therapy.

Ela - Registered Counsellor

I’m a registered counsellor with a special interest in supporting children, young people and their families. I’ve recently returned to Paraburdoo with my own young family, and I am enjoying being back and supporting families within our local community.

My approach is warm, flexible and always centred around the individual child. I draw on Person-Centred and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), adapting sessions to help kids feel safe, comfortable and able to connect in a way that works for them.
For me, it’s about creating a space where kids can be themselves, feel heard and build skills that are genuinely meaningful in their everyday lives.

Favourite therapy tool: Creating a space where kids feel so comfortable they forget they're doing therapy at all.

What lights me up: Watching a child go from anxious and withdrawn to confident and curious, knowing they now have tools they'll carry for life.

Why I'm proud to be part of TTT: Because I believe every child deserves to feel understood, and this team lives that value every single day.

Kerri - Therapy Assistant

With a background in Group Fitness, and a big love for kids' development, I discovered just how powerful movement is for growing bodies, bright minds, and big emotions.

My favourite therapy tool: The crash mat — because who doesn’t love a good crash and giggle?

When I’m not working: You’ll find me at the park, soaking up the magic of creative play while catching up with friends.

Why I’m proud to be part of TTT: Helping little movers reach big goals through the joy of movement and play.

Daisy - Therapy Assistant

Between working as an Educational Assistant, my background in after-school care and advocating through Youth Parliament, kids and young people are pretty much at the heart of everything I do.

My favourite therapy tool: At the moment, it’s our body and energy check-ins — although let’s be honest, this changes day to day and kiddo to kiddo!

I love how they help kids pause, notice what’s happening in their body and start figuring out what they might need. Plus, they work anywhere — therapy, school, home or on the go.

When I’m not working: My brain and body rarely stop (maybe I need an energy check-in!). You’ll find me at Youth Parliament advocating for our young people, concert and festival hopping, boxing with Kerri, or somehow finding myself rollerskating or playing the drums.

And when I do stop? I’m probably devouring a rom-com or murder mystery on my Kindle. There is no in-between!

Why I love Thrive: I’m incredibly proud to be part of the Thrive team. We all bring different experiences, ideas and knowledge... and we’re constantly learning from each other.

It really does take a village, and I love being part of one that helps kids understand their brains and bodies in a way that is child-centred, meaningful and genuinely useful to them.

Ally - Therapy Assistant

As an Educational Assistant and with a degree in Social Care, I've seen first hand how important it is for children to feel safe, understood, and supported before they can truly learn. I'm passionate about building genuine connections with children and helping them grow in confidence, develop new skills, and enjoy learning in a way that works for them.

My favourite therapy tool: Clothes pegs! For working on kids fine motor skills with endless opportunities and is something that children can replicate at home.

When I’m not working: You'll find me spending time with my young boys exploring endless sports and activities or relaxing at home watching a movie with a cuppa!

Why I’m proud to be part of TTT: Being a part of an amazing team of skilled ladies, allows for out of the box thinking and outcomes. And we always celebrate the small wins of the children we work with
